He started off really well a few years ago. All these loan moves abroad seems to have really dented his progression. For Wales sake, I hope he finds some form and manages to kick on. After we've gone to Leeds and won though

Played really well for Leipzig against Spurs a few years ago playing as a central defender but agree he hasn't come through as hoped. Not the only Chelsea promising youngster to have not come on quite as expected. I thought Billy Gilmour would be tearing up the Prem by now.

There is way too much pressure on these young players to become "World Class". I remember when they dubbed Neymar the next "Pele". I absolutely agree about the Chelsea youngster comment, and about Gilmour. I thought he would be a top PL player by now.

I feel sorry for Ampadu as I don’t think Chelsea have handled him right. He was always sent to a struggling team, which has probably dented his confidence. I think he’s good enough to play in the premiership just needs the right club. Im not sure going to Leeds is the answer unless they are able to get out of the championship.

Looks flaky in the tackle and thinks he is top end ball carrying defender, he should go back to the basics and not over do it.

Agree would have been better at a club like - Fulham - Forest - Brentford - Bournmouth - Palace - that type of Club .
Along with other team members from the Welsh squad who are at 3 ? of the above clubs .

Long gone have the days of Terry and Lampard - More ins and outs than the " Okey Cokey " at Chelsea

Welsh international Ethan Ampadu has signed for Championship outfit Leeds United on a four-year deal from Chelsea.
In means he'll be turning out against Cardiff City and Swansea City in the second tier next season.
The defender could make his debut against the Bluebirds, who travel to Elland Road on the opening day of the season.
Ampadu started his professional career at Exeter before joining Premier League giants Chelsea.
A series of loan moves followed, with the Welshman having stints in Germany, Italy and closer to home at Sheffield United.
After signing for the Yorkshire club, Ampadu told LUTV: "It was important for me to stabilise, find a home and get a bit of continuity. That always helps as a player.
"Obviously English football is where everyone wants to be, so I'm really happy with that."
