Ex-Manchester United defender Charlie Wellens has been revealed as one of the trialists in Cardiff's game against Barry Town United on Friday evening.
Whether Wellens Jr, who played six games on loan at Oldham in the National League last season, becomes a Bluebird remains to be seen, however it is understood he is someone the club admire. There were two other trialists in the Barry game, however it appears unlikely they will proceed with them.
