Sol Bamba comes across as intelligent and articulate. He’s clearly very fond of the club and it’s a shame things didn’t work out. I’m sure offers will come in for him although I think he’d do a great job in a media role. He’s a natural.

What a man. You know the part I’m going to focus on, “who the hell does Tan think he is ringing experienced managers and trying to tell them what to do”? Most deluded man with the biggest ego.

To add some balance, he also refers to Vincent Tan as a 'very good owner'

There was also an interview with Steve Morison, where he said he was asked if he would like to return, said yes, but never heard anymore; at which point he said "that's life" and wished the club well going forward :ayatollah:

He does but I think that was through gritted teeth and as Annis says, I think Sol would be nice to almost anyone.

Ps yes I need to get over Tan but won’t be able to until he leaves my club haha

Well Simon we could be in for a longer wait than we wanted of late.

Hopefully Dalman will tell Tan to take a long awaited retirement and leave the ground work to him.

Over to Dalman.

Simon, I agree and nearly started a similar thread until I saw Ned already had. Sol certainly is a 'nice' guy but I just wanted to add a little balance to the thread, as he (Tan) appears to be taking a step back at the moment... :ayatollah:

Tan telling a manager how he wants the team to play and who should play.
Now where have we heard that before.
That says it all about this club. It's no wonder the club is a mess. Whatever happened to building the nucleus of the team with Welsh players!!.
I think tan has taken us as far as we can go. We are just bumbling along in the championship.
Like all city fans we hope this manager can get city playing nice football and maybe get city into the play offs. For me the best managers around are Spanish and Portuguese.
We city fans will get behind this manager, the rest is up to him.

He didn’t seem convinced in what he was saying to me. That’s all, and I have a severe hatred of Tan, I will add that for balance.

Yeah you’re always balanced in your approach mate. I don’t have that balance when it comes to Tan and never will I don’t think
