Watters & Davies are subject of transfer interest (permanent & loan respectively).

Sawyers is on his own training at the Vale, no interest in him at the moment from other clubs.

Although I would not be against Sawyers moving on, I am a bit surprised that he's in this position after not playing any pre seasons for us so far.

Sawyers is not a Championship midfielder anymore. A few seasons ago he was probably up there with the best in the League, but he struggled with the physical element last season and most of the games passed him by. I think a move down to League 1 would definitely suit him.

Good player with an inelegant football brain, but sadly his best days are well behind him.

Only recently returned from the Gold Cup with his national team. That's what he's not travelled to Portugal, needs to do individual training before training with the team again.

Agree. He has played 5 games in two weeks so probably in need of a rest from playing and just needs light training to keep his fitness up.
