Erol Bulut - Wants 3 More Players

Erol Bulut wants to add up to three more players to his Cardiff City ranks after an initial flurry of five transfers.

The Bluebirds have brought in Ike Ugbo, Dimitrios Goutas, Yakou Meite, Karlan Grant and Aaron Ramsey, all of whom barring the latter were in action during their 1-0 defeat by Braga on Wednesday night.

The squad looks stronger than last year's, with Bulut really trying to add pace, creativity and, importantly, goals to his forward line, which was sadly missing during the Braga defeat.

However, the manager wants more through the door before the transfer window closes, saying: "It could be two or three more, we will see."

Think we're also light at centre back. Need extra experience there.

Still have a doubt whether there'll be enough goal threat from us too but we have strengthened there I realise.

Wingers and another CB needed for me. O’Dowda and Robinson are good options, Meite could play there too but feels a bit lacking to me. A winger or two with pace would really push us on

i think Romeo is a really good right back, and NG there, i think we are sorted for the right hand side, i would like to see a bit of cover for left back, coming back from such a bad injury it will take a while for Collins to really get going, in his mind now before every tackle will be, am i going to re-do the knee. so i think cover at left back, O'Dowda is wasted there.

i would say, a new keeper, a right winger with some real pace. and probably cover for the Centre backs

Before the change of style we’re seeing with the inverted full backs and inter changing between midfielders and full backs I felt the same about O’Dowda being wasted if used as cover for Collins. But I now think his attacking element won’t be so lost with having Meite or Grant in front of him. Starting to feel we are looking more flexible in the squad than before. Fingers crossed tho.
