SEASON TICKET NUMBERS?

Tue Jul 25, 2023 8:55 am

We are now less than two weeks to the big KO. Having signed Ramsey and some other quality players together with a very positive mindset cascading out of everything BLUEBIRD, I am wondering where the club is as far as season ticket sales.
Last week a figure of 15,500 was being banded about which is an improvement on last season's figure of 14.5K. So are on course for that 18K figure mentioned by Dalman a couple on months ago :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

At last mights SLO meeting the members were told that Season tickert sales are very close to 14,000 inc, hospitality and only 500 short of the total sales including(half season tickets last year. This will appear low to some but we had an awful season last year and to be fair over 12000 still bought early, signings have ensured there is a steady daily sale and hopefully that will spike as pay goes in end/start of the month. There definitely has been a big uplift in enthusiasm and hope this pre season. Yes they are cheaper than many clubs but times are very hard for many of our fans and season tickets are not going to be a priority over essential things that families need. I think sales will continue to be steady and we will get increased match day sales.
I don't see this as a negative, just a reality of the economy of South Wales at the moment.
I personally think a big thank you is needed to the fans who have committed, regardless of numbers. We have sold out Leeds for the first time in years and a feelgood factor is starting to be felt by our fans, so ST sales could well improve before the season starts.

I think you may have been told the incorrect number ( easily done) simply because there are only around 6,300 seats left for sale on the season ticket portal.

21,800 less 6,300 = 15,500.

I agree with Annis on this one

I wonder how hospitality is counted tho in the overall total ? .

6,300 includes what’s left in hospitality .I’m sure the club stated that 13,000 was sold weeks before Ramsey was having a medical, and sales have been steady since then.

Wales online also stated weeks ago sales were “close to 14,000”
