There is an in depth report on the BBC website into the downward spiral of Reading FC, it makes desperate reading for everyone involved with that club and it paints a picture of dreadful management of a professional football club. They are very close to being wound up, and much of the blame can be laid at the door of the owner, perhaps we are not as bad a we think.

Sounds so familiar and their demise is the lesson we must learn. So close to us being in the third tier and what a difficult summer we could have had.

With the news tonight that they have not paid HMRC and they are now under full embargo. They are tittering on the edge,
I hope they can survive
At least we can be thankful that we have not followed that pathway

read it myself last night, shocking stuff, over a 5 year period a loss of £146? million, and they said the owners put in over £200m. poorly run and decision making really poor.
i do think WBA are really close to being in the same boat
