I dont know about anyone else - but i have a very good feeling about this season, the momentum is increasing for me, because of the signings loans and our new manager, come on CITY --- THIS COULD BE OUR SEASON !!!!

Me too everything seems to be falling into place. Hopefully yet another promotion to the premier. We have had our ups and downs. But a lot more ups than downs in the last 12 years.

Happy with what we have got in so far - We still need to get in a few more new faces before the season starts

I don’t share the blind optimism on here from some. Nice to see but we’re still massively away from a top ten team let alone promotion. That’s my opinion and I’d love to be proved wrong

It’s all about opinions but I’d say we’ve replaced the 2 of the 3 you’ve mentioned with better. Grant is more proven than Philogene in this league, and he can play across the front line so gives us more options. Goutas seems to be as good with the ball as Kipre from what we’ve seen and is just as assured defensively. The only one we’ve not really replaced like for like is Kaba, but we seem to be playing a different game this season. And we certainly have more options and creativity in the attacking side now.

Yep agreed, all about opinions.
Even if we replace the 3 I mentioned, we are still a team that really finished in the relegation zone last season. Ramsey is class but he can’t do it on his own. We’ve barely scored in pre-season, so not sure where you’re seeing this creativity in attack. For me we need a winger, ball playing midfielder and a striker. Not to mention strengthening the defence. Without this we I think we’re going to start this season as we were last - inconsistent and struggling

I think if moore comes back we have covered the 3 lost ramsey moore goutas plus grant striker and the 2 who never played last season plus meiti and playing o' dowda on the wing and a few more to come in how can you not be optimistic?

We are definitely in a better place (squad wise) already compared to last season. Grant and Ramsey are such good aquitions it's unreal.
We won't miss Kaba and Philo, both did well for us but are slightly over rated. Obviously our fans will praise those 2 for what they did for us but out of the 3 I'd take Kipre.

I know a ball hasn't been kicked competitivley but promotion will be out of our reach but hopefully could get to play offs, just to be in the mix will be a step in the right direction.
Otherwise we are looking at mid table which is still progress

Do I really need to answer that? We can’t score mate, and unless they change the rules that means we won’t pick up many points. There’s a reason wba let grant go out, meite it’s average at best, o’dowda doesn’t create, Adams untested, Collins no guarantee of getting back to the player we saw all so briefly. We are in a relegation battle from the off.
