Not a one man team

Let's not get carried away, just because Rambo wanted to return doesn't guarantee success in this league..He is only as good as those around him who undoubtedly have to deliver also..

Mr Bulut has been a breath of fresh air (quote) but not a ball kicked yet in what is perceived as the best 2nd tier in Europe.... time will tell .. I for one hope he lasts a season...

I don't think anybody is saying Ramsey will completely transform our fortunes alone. Everyone on here seems to be rightly saying that all the new signings are crucial and we need a few more, including the manager.

They need to give Bulut time, that goes for us as fans as well. I think the club will be patient.

He is coming to a country he hasn't managed in before but the early signs are good. I believe that, given time, he will do a good job.

I have always said if we can get a comfortable mid table finish this season, it will be a good result. Especially when you consider where we were last season.

We can then hopefully kick on the following season, with us being able to pay fees from January.

If we're around mid table in January, a few decent signings could see us make a late push for the top six ahead of schedule.

The good news is I don't see us being in a relegation battle this season.

Whilst I agree we shouldn't be in a relegation battle, the reality of the situation is that there are fewer obvious relegation candidates than there were last season. In fact you could make a plausible case for every team in our league being capable of enjoying a successful season.

There are so many imponderables at present; a new manager, new players, new system, that I find it impossible to say with any conviction that we will do well. I hope we will but I think a lot will depend on the the new manager and whether he has the ability and nous to succeed in the Championship.
