After 4 years without being able to watch their team, a league record attendance of 5,451 Bury FC fans packed into Gigg Lane to watch the Shakers beat Glossop North End 4-1.

It’s great to see them back.

That's great news, and let's hope they can get themselves back in the league some day. I've always had a bit of a soft spot for Bury, I was on a training course years ago and one bloke on the course was a season ticket holder at Gigg Lane, they're up against the 2 Manc clubs and not too far from any number of bigger clubs in Lancashire, so hats off to their support. These smaller clubs get in trouble owing less than some greed league players earn in a month, and that pisses me off.
