Sent on loan to Blackpool last season made 24 appearances.

Originally Blackpool, who sold Bowler in 2022 to Nottingham Forest then last season they loaned him back to Blackpool after zero appearances and now sending Bowler on loan to Cardiff City.

Cardiff City are poised to sign winger Josh Bowler on loan.

The Bluebirds have made five signings already this summer, prioritising the top end of the pitch, and Erol Bulut is about to make Bowler his sixth addition.

Offers something different to what we have already.

I know a forest fan who said he went on loan to olympiacos and struggled but would be good in championship.

This is a surprise but a decent signing. As has been said, a different option.

Goes to show that when people say "nothing seems to be happening with transfers", Bulut is working on transfers - even when it's not in the public domain.

We do suddenly have a lot of forwards!

I'd imagine Ojo, Tanner and Davies are to go out either on loan or permanent.

Seems similar to what we’ve been used to lately, got a lot but not much end product. 151 appearances and only 19 goals and 9 assists.

Haven't had that type of threat since Harry Wilson played for us.Offers us something different to what we've got now and he'll do for me.Not a touch line hugger but a lovely left peg.

O'Dowda and Collins will compete for the LB position.

Grant, Meite, Bowler and Robinson are all better wingers than O'Dowda. Although I wouldn't be surprised if Grant or Robinson are played as a striker until the new signing is made.

O'Dowda is decent as a winger and would have done well there last season. But the truth is we now have much better wingers.

COD may well find more space at LB so I’m not overly concerned atm.

The way the Gaffer seems to set up means O'Dowda will have a lot more licence to get forward and I think he'll do well enough which will allow Collins a softer return to full fitness after his injury.

Bowler has played well against us let's hope he show's the same form in a Blue shirt. Bulut seems to have a plan for COD. I for one am really looking forward to the season.
