OJO KEEP OR DITCH ?

He has pulled his finger out of his rear during pre season whether this is new manager bounce or playing with the likes if ramsey

he did this last season started off and then turned into the laziest and most disinterested player we had and made no effort he was almost getting booed at one point shocking last season.
So has he has turned a corner or should he turn right out of Cardiff and keep going.

I’m the same Monty. He did ok Saturday but there’s Evans, Meite and Tanner to add to the 3 who started on Saturday; add to that the probability of another coming in, one will surely leave. Who is anyone’s guess.

For me he hasn’t shown anything like his form when we had him on loan. A few decent pre season games are one thing. Doing it week in week out when it matters is something else. As a comparison we are after another cm knowing we aren’t strong enough there. All the while wintle and ralls are 2 of the most consistent players we have. If they aren’t enough. Is ojo?

Totally agree with that but is it he that goes or Tanner / Evans (on loan)?

For me tanner and evans should have the incentive to really I.prove given the chance and with 7 subs may get some game time. Ojo to me has too many games when he just can't be arsed. Get rid especially if bowler comes in.

Championship clubs can name up to 9 subs next season.

They can still only bring on 5 subs in 3 'windows' (excluding half time) plus the possibility of a concussion sub.

Yes sorry 9 subs but point stands as cven getting first team experience may improve tanner and evans while ojo has had plenty of chances

So maybe it’s easier to keep ojo as back up? I don’t see those 3 being regular starters anyway given what we have now in their positions

I like evans young and hungry fighting for a place i would keep him over ojo he ojo either holds onto it to long
or tries to take on everbody or also have his head in the clouds but like someone said it seems bulut likes him.

Before pre season I would have said "ditch" but seeing his performances in the friendlies he deserves one more chance.

There's a very good player in there, he just needs to show it a lot more often. Hopefully Bulut knows how to get the best out of him.

Get rid ASAP. Puts poor performances regularly as apposed to the odd good performance. I actually wonder how he's made it as a professional footballer.

It's easy for people to say "get rid of him".

But clubs have got to want to sign him and he's got to want the move. If it was loan, we would want the club who bring him in to be paying a good percentage of his wages - otherwise he may as well just stay with us.

Gillingham were interested but moved on to other targets. Maybe he wasn't interested or maybe the wages were too high for them.

He has had a good pre-season so he may stay with us for the time being anyway. But we have a lot of decent wingers now so I think he will struggle to start games. With nine substitutes and five that can be used, he could get chances from the bench.

Really needs to prove that he's the same Ojo we had on loan, because he was brilliant then.

Leave up to Bulut as he knows best.

He's been our most creative winger in preseason in terms of shots, going past players and crosses.

New start and al that.

We can then take stock in January when Bulut has made his mark and the team is more settled.

Any player not performing then, ship them out.

I understand the new manager , new environment (in a way) etc idea, but Ojo has had several new managers, and he has not changed his attitude, and his football intelligence has not improved.

He should be sent on loan for 6 months and told it is his opportunity/last chance, to show he is capable of playing regularly at this level.
I would prefer to give Evans and Tanner the opportunity to see what they can do, as all 3 will only play bit parts in the team during the season, so best to bring on youngsters with something to prove.

Ditch. Awful player. I wouldnt swap 100 Ojos for an Isaak Davies or Mark Harris. At least they bust a gut and put effort in.
