Why so much hate for Joe Ralls?

I just don't get what all the hate for ralls is about ? I see articles about him and allsop being injured and people saying they are glad and they want him injured all season. I just don't understand why people think he's so bad. Did nobody see him play left back last season running his socks off last ditch tackles busting a gut to get to the ball I personally think he's great and so loyal to cardiff our fans can be so crap

He works hard and has a good attitude but it's not enough, not in this league.

I think Wintle is a good midfielder but he needs someone better than Ralls/Adams to partner him there.

Ralls will be a good person to keep around the squad but the truth is he doesn't have the quality to be a top Championship midfielder.

I would choose Adams ahead of him for Leeds.

Those who celebrated his injury and wished him another injury were a disgrace though.

How short are some memories? Last half of last season, he was a warrior for us.

He's got character. Is he on the decline, absolutely... but definately a strong squad player and absolutely loves the club.

Some fans may dislike him ( unbelievably)- but the Managers we have had all pick him. Enough said.

He’s in my squad all day long.Yes he has his faults but he’s got more positive’s.You need people like Ralls in and the squad and team.
He will have his moments on the pitch too (good and bad)but he gives his all for Cardiff City.

Under appreciated by many, but he's one of the main reasons we stayed up last season. Good character to have in the squad.

It's strange, even if you feel he's not the best technical player to put the shirt on. Hes always gave 100%

Some people are, sadly, plain stoopid and don't see football beyond the result...!

Joe Ralls has been a very good player for us and whilst not quite out of the Peter Whittingham mould, he gives his all for the club and on those occasions he's been injured, we have missed him...

such a breath of fresh air to see people comment his worth im glad im not the only one. its just so shocking that so many dislike a guy who is mr cardiff there is no denying it i even think on his day hes quality aswell

I've always been a fan of Joe Ralls, although I believe his best days at Cardiff may be behind him.
Hopefully, he will return to prove me wrong.

Nail on the head. He showed why he was made captain in those last 10 games, when the pressure was on he stood up and lead by example, also played out of position in a few of those games.

Really baffles me why he gets so much stick. The majority of players have come out and said he's the best trainer. Warnock loved him and said he's a 7/10 every game and I agree.

I think he deserves alot more respect than he gets and with our current centre mids he still gets in our strongest 11.

One of only a few over the past seasons who has always given 100%. Can't understand why people would critisize him.
Rather have him anyway over some of the lazy money grabbers we have had in the past. I could also name some lazy gutless players in the current squad. You know who they are.

Rediculious ralls has taken on the gunarsson role hard takling and still doing a job in midfield.

Ralls deserves much more respect. I haven't a bad word against him purely for his commitment on field.

Ojo is the one I see is the latest target. We have always had players that some of our fans just don't like.

The legend that is Peter Whittingham in Ninian Park days was a target for a long time....clueless people

Brilliant servant to the club. Probably doesn't get the appreciation he deserves due to mostly being in poor midfield units with too many similar style players. Still the pick of them for me

Joe Ralls is my number one in midfield, it hardly matters what a small minority think. Outstanding service for the club during the ups and downs with no complaint.In fact Ralls should and does have the same respect as Ramsey and he has earned it.

I get stick from all my mates when I stick up for Ralls, but they have no answer when I say this about successive managers all picking him.

Deffo a match day squad player.

Aside from every manager to date picking him. It was clear last season we played a lot worse with far less composure and direction when he didn’t play. That included when he was subbed off. He’s Cardiff. He deserves respect because he more than any, has earned it

It’s just a tiny minority who think badly of him , it’s the same people who are always negative about everything . They haven’t a clue about real footballers .
Joe ralls has been brilliant for this club and has always put everything into his tackles even when he’s been getting injured a lot, he still has that desire to win for his club , it shows how much he loves this club , so for all the joe ralls haters just go and wobble ur knees and take a breather and try and admire one of the legends we still have playing for us .

We need ALL players fit at the start of the season - And let the manager pick his best 11 and subs .

Joe Ralls has always given his best for Cardiff City, some of our supporters are never happy.
I think they’d find fault with Messi .

Our fans always need a scapegoat and for some that is Ralls. For some it’s Ojo, some just never connect with a player so whatever they do they moan.

Always seems to be usual suspects slagging Ralls off, pretty sad really that they then declare themselves fans !!!
If he so bad why have all the managers who have been here selected him?
Anyone could see last season especially that when he went off the discipline and shape of the team went which shows what a leader he is...

Ojo gets stick as he appears to give little effort and often, as a skilful player, makes a hash of a promising attack.

Rallsy is a fighter, never gives up and occasionally pops up with a screamer like the one v Sunderland in their relegation season.

I'd never hate any player in a City shirt , disappointed and frustration at performances, yes , hate I find perplexing??

When Ralls plays he seems to pick up second balls a lot of the time. It can’t be coincidence and must be something he is either seeing that others don’t or anticipate what others can’t, but he is frequently getting onto those second balls more than others.

To top him off, he gives his all, never been our most gifted player but don’t think he has ever been one who has been the worst performing player in the team
