Cardiff fans it should of been 3,000

Cardiff sold their 1,920 tickets for Leeds Away in less than 24hrs.

Leeds should of given us at least 10% of their capacity.

Visiting supporters are situated at one end of the upper tier of the John Charles West Stand. Occasionally, for some local derbies, and well supported clubs, the whole of the West Stand upper is given to away supporters. The general allocation is 3,000.

For some reason Leeds have given our extra 1,000 tickets to their fans and got away with it.

Isn't it the choice of the away club to say what they want?

If the away club ask for a certain amount and don't sell them the club has to cover the cost of unsold tickets?

According to most on there forum we did not take up full allocation of the entire away end plus the fact they will charge there home fans full price .

Home teams have to give up to 10% of their ground capacity over to visiting fans for a league game (up to 15% for a cup game) if the visiting club asks for that amount. In this case we asked for 2,000 . We could have taken up another 800 but if any of that second batch remained unsold we would still have had to pay for them, a big financial risk for CCFC . There wasn`t an option to take more tickets in batches of say 200 at a time.

Not just their forum. I have had a conversation with one of their Trust board who has confirmed that we didn`t take up an option for a further 800 tickets.

We had to guarantee to sell the 800 extra if we wanted them and the reserve list wasn't high enough to guarantee that. Thought we had sold 2200

Who is in charge at city for this? Clearly selling 2k so soon should have made clear another 800 we would have cleared so far away from the match? Leeds charging home fans more I think has had something to do with this
