Pretty spot on with the exception of maybe Millwall should be the same as us.

I agree Millwall’s away Support has improved dramatically.

When we were in the lower leagues our away support was very good in comparison to the other clubs in our division Now in the championship I think this is about right. We do have a greater distance to travel than most which will affect the away support especially mid week games

To be fair to us and the Jacks. We have good support and have to travel long journeys compared to most clubs. Particularly hard in midweek.

For me we had way better away Support in the lower leagues compared to our home support and distance did not matter.

Yes as a % of home crowd it was better It seemed to me back in 70/80/90 we had in my mind a lot more games i would say were closer Newport, Swansea, Hereford , Bristol City , Bristol Rovers , Exeter, Torquay , Plymouth , Reading , Oxford , Swindon , Walsal , Wolves , Kidderminster, Cheltenham Or it could be I was much younger then and the distances did not seem to ever be an issue

It did feel for me in 90s away games were closer but suspect they were not so much. I think we were big fish in pond with decent away and very vocal followings...

It doesn't help like against Leeds when we should be given full allocations

Bit simplistic this.. if Leeds and Sunderland had our history.. etc.

Its not as simple as putiing it down to just distances. We've had only 2 seasons in the top flight in the last 60 years. Compare that to the others in the league.
Considering the lack of success, I think our support is superb.
