It’s shocking really as Coventry City
Coventry numbers were 3,305.
Just been told it’s because Cardiff City are not requesting any more Leeds and Leicester away and it’s not the home clubs
Cardiff City refuse anymore tickets , the same as they did v Leeds:
Cardiff City Sold them first come first served to Season Ticket holders.
Sold out within 8 hours
Away Allocation 2,200
We’ve sold about 1,900 already in less 2hrs.
It seems our fans are turning up big time for the Big games, don’t forget the Preston, Ipswich, Norwich , Boro aways etc
Quite fair price for a club just relegated from Prem.

Don’t forget Leicester don’t need to reduce prices as they will sell out anyway.

Wanted to go to this but can't afford it until next week, hopefully we get given more as sounds like they'll sell out before that.

Apparently the away end can hold up to 3000 so there is a chance we may get more tickets if we ask for them

Got mine and looking forward to it, another tough game and a point would be a good result

It does but they’ve sold the tickets to their fans

Just got mine and my boys, can't wait

Sold out in less than 2hrs. Fans were queuing as well as over the phone sales.
Looks like well over 25k for Saturdays game so the fans are coming back.

Certainly looks sold out now

Confirmed by the club, sold out.
Brilliant support.

I ask again why don't we get full allocation. Other clubs do but Leeds now Leicester sell to home fans. Clearly we could have sold more for both trips? Don't get it and under mines our true away following number's

Fantastic support
2 out of 2 away games sold out
Ipswich away next - long trip but can we make it 3?!

I hope we don't give other visiting fans extra tickets and just give them the set allocation for visiting teams. Sell those extra tickets to Cardiff City fans so our team have all the support we can give them.

We do as we can’t sell out at home , so that’s understandable

Gutted I've missed out on this. Would have hoped that after the Leeds tickets selling out so quickly and plenty of people who wanted to go that couldn't, the club would have requested around 3,000 for this one.
Will probably go to Ipswich away instead now, long journey but not been there for a while.

Ned,
We would of Sold 3,000, but the people at our club would not take the risk, shocking as that means they don’t really know our fan base.

Agree.

I think we always seem to slow in sales after 2k. May crawl towards 2.5k but the club can end up with having to buy up the rest.

Whoever is in charge of Ticketing and requests needs to answer as more fans for us is more support for the team...also builds our overall fan base. It's obvious to anyone that we would have sold full allocation for Leicester.

Sadly Dalman and his crew are still way out of touch with our fanbase

To be fair Coventry always take a lot away. They have a great following and being in the Midlands have lots of away games within an hour or so drive.
However, our club do need realise that for some away games this season, we will have a higher demand for tickets than others and they should purchase the maximum amount of tickets available from the home team.

Tbh I can't help thinking the police don't want us to travel in too large of numbers .
