Fitness?

After being 2-0 up on our 2 opening games and being pulled back on both occasions, are our players fit enough ?

Yes

Te'o goals last night, Collins torn a new one by the winger, he did him three times in total. Then Simpson was done. Bulet went nuts on the sideline, spun around and two fingers up really angry, I think he was saying that was f****** twice we've been done down that side. I'm guessing his halftime talk was a little stern.

Fitness is fine.

Collins was terrible for that goal, is he ever going to be the same player again after that injury?

I’m guessing you didn’t watch the game but as the other poster said it was the defensive errors that caused their comeback.

Collins was skinned on several occasions and Simpson is not good enough.

We need defenders we can't rely on those two!

In fairness Collins only just back from and ACL. Give the lad a chance! Normally takes six months after starting back playing to get up to speed.

this, ACL is a serious injury, he's going to be nervous for a good while aswell when playing in fear of repeating the injury, his reading of the game will come the more he plays.

Can we afford to wait for collins to come good
i

Last night we conceded the 2 goals in the first half, so it has nothing to do with fitness. It was just mistakes by our players unfortunately. I can’t see any players who played yesterday threatening for a place in the first 11, apart from Alnwick of course. Collins although coming back from injury is not quite near the level that O’Dowda showed on Sunday. A very strong replacement if O’Dowda was to get injured though.

Mate, I'm surprised this thread has been elevated. Hr's just another poster (not a new as he appears ;) ) who is trying to 'get in first' at every opportunity. A quick look at his opening posts to date shows a lack of real substance or understanding...

So, Leeds first goal was a defensive error/poor marking. Call it what ever you want, but you let the attacking player get on the move and you are in trouble from a set piece. Their second was a 'lucky' deflection that just broke to Summerville and he fired it past Alnwick who was beaten before he even had chance to move his feet. I don't think that counts for 'fitness' issues.

Collins is going to be rusty for a while after his injury and rehabilitation. Some players never ever get back to the level they were at before doing their ACL. Let's hope he manages to get some minutes on Saturday.

Not worried about fitness at all.

Sunday we were up against a brilliant side and we defended well all game, it was a fortunate rebound that gave them the equaliser.

Last night it's not like we fell to pieces. A couple of defensive mistakes cost the goals, that has nothing to do with fitness.

Without the majority of our first choice team, we dominated the second half going by what I've heard.

So there's no fitness issue at all.

I am a bit concerned about your comments especially as you are a moderator. I have only recently joined this forum after a long period of guest reading. I was always put off joining because posters with low posting numbers are often accused of being a multi or someone who has previously been banned for whatever reason.

Surely if you disagree with Ramsey10 opinion it would be better to tackle his opinion rather than refer to his newish status and possible connection with other accounts?

Our goals came from poor Leeds defending. That’s footy..Strikers miss chances, goalies butterfinger… Managers call it wrong etc

Fans are just as silly..
