England captain Harry Kane has joined German champions Bayern Munich on a four-year deal, ending his record-breaking career at Tottenham.
The striker has signed a deal worth more than 110m euros (£95m) and could make his debut in Saturday's German Super Cup game against RB Leipzig.
Kane, 30, leaves Premier League Spurs as their all-time top scorer with 280 goals in 435 appearances.
In a social media post he said he "felt this was the time to leave" Spurs.
Kane was linked with a move to Manchester City in 2021, and his future had been uncertain this summer because he only had one year left on his contract at Spurs.
He was also linked with Manchester United and Real Madrid earlier this summer, before Bayern made their move. After having several bids rejected, a deal was agreed on Thursday, with Kane flying to Munich on Friday to finalise matters.
Spurs chairman Daniel Levy said the club had "reluctantly agreed to his transfer".

I’m not sure he will go.
He’s waiting for a bid from another premier league team I think.

Not sure if any other Premier League club would pay that sort of money. Chelsea perhaps? Newcastle maybe.

Don't think Levy will sell him to a Premier League club.
Of course he can go for free in a year, but they won't want to lose him for nothing - a bit like Mbappe who will likely join Real Madrid for nothing in 2024.

I’m surprised United didn’t wait for him.
They would prefer to sell to a premier league club than lose for nothing?

When you think of the dross that Chelsea have bought over the last few years, Kane is one of those players who could make the difference between mediocrity and CL football. I'm shocked they haven't gone for him....unless of course Levy has said no.

Fair point, but you never know with Levy.

Looks like the deal is happening as he's set to travel to Germany for a medical.

Bayern paying 100m for a player who on the face of it doesn't seem overly keen on the move.
