Bournemouth have completed the signing of midfielder Alex Scott from Bristol City for a reported fee of £25m.
The 19-year-old has agreed a long-term contract with the Cherries and becomes manager Andoni Iraola's fifth signing of the summer.
Scott played three matches for England at the U20 World Cup in Argentina earlier this year.
Scott trained with the youth teams of Bournemouth and Southampton before he played non-league football for Guernsey, with the Channel Islands his birthplace.
He was signed by Bristol City in January 2020 and went on to make 91 appearances for the Robins in all competitions, scoring six goals.

Doesn’t surprise me, very good player.
However, Rubin is definitely up there with him in terms of ability!

We’d be lucky to get 2.5 for Rubin let alone 25

What tinted sunglasses? Rubin is an extremely gifted footballer. You only have to watch him play, and know the game to see that.
It looks like he’s grown into his body now, so just hope he has the right mentality.

Agree he's got ability but still a long way to go until he's worth anywhere near that.
Not too sure if the people who are saying he was great against Colchester actually went and saw him playing. He was way to static, didn't make the runs off the ball that I'd expect and was guilty on numerous occasions of not getting his head up and hanging on to the ball too long. For me tanner was the better player.
I think a loan away would definitely benefit him, he needs more real game experience

When I asked Neil Warnock about Rubin recently he said he would be the first name on his team sheet and build the team around him. He just needs regular games to boost his confidence.

Wouldn't even get that he's miles from the finished product.

Oh come on, of course we could get £2.50 for him, maybe even £5 if we're lucky.
