It seems that on arrival at the stadium, a decision had been taken 'by the club' to move Bluebird supporters, including season ticket holders, from Block 118 and place them in or around Blocks 116/117
I repeat that they were only told on arrival at the stadium and several of them were reallocated seats that already belonged to long-time season ticket holders...!
Additionally, there were somecseason ticket holders already in 117 who were moved to other seats in the same blick; and again some of those were already occupied by existing season ticket holders...
There guys there reckon it's 'rammed' now and instances of 'continual standing' have increased massively overnight...
Equally, and this is where I posted previoysly, it seems the Stewards (and we know one or two enjoy their jobs a little too much) were on a mission to eject as many youngsters as they could and went in 'mob handed' to achieve their task, whilst a dozen or so other Stewards lined the steps up/down the stand...
It doesn't sound good and I would be very grateful if some who were there can add/correct the occurrences above...![]()
Note: For the attention of Cardiff City FC (or maybe more pointedly Wayne Nash) what on Earth is going on?![]()
Some answers for the increasingly disgruntled supporters in 117/118, please...!

Good to see you back at the CCS Monty. The gaps yesterday are huge and it's Wayne Nash who is behind all these ridiculous decisions. He treats fans as second class citizens and really needs to be replaced by somebody with a modicum of competence as he's beyond useless.

Agree, Paul; goid to see Monty back at the CCS...![]()
The question should be "What can we do to improve the atmosphere?" and not "What can we do to erode it further?"

Without fans/supporters there would be no club, without a club there would be no job for (g)nasher so ignore the supporters who pay his wages lose his job quite simpe really install someone who works for the best interests of club and supporters not destroying from within ! It only takes one rotten apple !!!!! And (G)nasher is rotten to the core.Sven wrote:lordllanbradach@icloud.com wrote:Sven wrote:GrangeEndStar wrote:montyblue wrote:I was there yesterday but in between canton and ninian it looked full all away across the ninian to the away fans from where i was sitting

I've met Wayne on a number of occasions and find him to be a mixed bag; helpful when circumstances permit but as equally obstunate when it comes to listening to the wants of a support base that is in the main made up of pretty reasonable people, who only want what's best for the club they love...
Twist or turn? That's not my decision but I do wish he'd listen to the supporters properly rather than dismissing them as incidental...

GrangeEndStar wrote:I can confirm that the above is exactly what happened Chris and it was all yet another disastrous decision by Wayne Nash and only decided on at the last minute giving people hardly any notice to make alternative agreements in where they want to sit. There has been zero fan consultation on this and if the opportunity arises, I will bring this up atp the 'Fan Parliament' this week, which I hope is not just a FLR box ticking meaningless talking shop. Several fans around me are lodging complaints this week as it was awful yesterday and is unacceptable. The heavy handed stewarding was also on Nash's instruction and someone who was affected actually works for the club and will also be complaining.
Nash is hell bent on destroying any atmosphere in the stadium and the board should see this, every decision he makes is like some sort of vendetta against the fans who see him as the Lawnmower Man who managed somehow to get to Ops Manager, a position obviously well beyond him. Club needs a clean sweep and he's another one at the top of the list to go, how he's survived this long is unbelievable.

I have now spoken to people at the QPR game on both sides (supporters and officials) and it seems most of what I put out was correct and the decision was taken without consulting those affected and who might have wanted to have a choice in where they go...
Several posts on this thread pointed to Wayne Nash as the decision-maker for this occurrence and for the actions of the stewards...
With complete trust, I can now confirm the decision was NOT made by Wayne but by the Chief Safety Steward, who has such decisions (good or bad) as part of his remit and with that in mind, I feel Wayne is owed an apology for being dragged into the debate above...
Further, I agree with those who say personal attacks on anyone are not great to see. We know from experience Wayne can be a pain() but it's not good seeing people getting abuse from others who can hide and post in anonymity...

Thanks for providing the clarification and some facts in your posts. As you say, unjustified criticism based on rumour (and possibly a personal vendetta or two?) is not helpful.
What other posters have also not mentioned is the reported unacceptable behaviour of a small number of fans (not kids) in that area of the ground that had to be dealt with - behaviour captured on bodycam records. It doesn`t take many to possibly spoil it for the majority.

Whilst there are those (sadly not 'kids') who use unacceptable behaviour using the tired old 'it's a football match and I'll do what I want' rhetoric, I have also seen certain stewards (they'll know who they are be (polite version) a little overzealous in their dealings with undeserving youngsters...
Whilst here, a further point to my post above is that we wrongly said people were moved from Block 118 when it was actually the 'away end' side of Block 117 (118 is actually the 'no man's land' between the home and away support...
Thank you to the person (again, they'll know who they are) for that correction...

I have now had the chance to investigate the claimed "forced" move of seats for some supporters and these are the relevant facts
The club decided at the end of May to move approximately 25 fans in block 117 from an area one side of a gangway closest to away fans to another part of 117 with similar seats. All fans concerned were notified of the change by mid June and there were no objections received.
At the same time as the change above about 70 people in the family stand were moved further away from away supporters to create a larger buffer zone, They were notified early and again no objections. Part of the reason for this was that away support of up to 3,000 fans is expected for some games this season which would otherwise have reduced that buffer zone

Out of interest, what is classed as bad behaviour to merit this action , I ask because I sometimes get the impression that Cardiff City employees continue to treat football fans as if it was 20 years ago.
