A forum for all things Cardiff City

I noticed quite a few moaning about Grants desire or if he really wants it.
Very early to say in my view.
But are most City fans happy Grant is here for the season ?
Karlan Grant
WBA: 96 appearances / 22 goals
WBA paid £15mill for Grant from Huddersfield Town.
WBA fans were mainly happy to see the back of him, but Huddersfield Town fans were gutted when they sold him but were happy to receive £15mill.

I said in my post after the game on Saturday that he needs a goal. I stand by that.
People judging players after two real games is ridiculous (I don't count friendlies as they're just glorified training sessions).
I stand by my thinking that he needs a goal for his confidence, then he will start firing for us.

Hes still getting fit , I'm notbsure he's a winger tbh wasnt his best season when he was up front ?

After his display against QPR he needs to improve greatly.
If he can't then he is a waste of wages.

Play him up front, he's not a winger preferably with Robinson, then judge him

I'd say he's probably half decent at this level given his previous stats. Very early days so give the lad a chance.
I know I'd feel pretty deflated as a player if I was being judged negatively after 2 league matches!

He was awful on Saturday so he needs to improve ASAP or he will quickly become a scapegoat.

Agree
From what I have seen from his spell at WBA he seemed to link up well with Robinson. The goals dried up when he was switched out wide and Robinson left. Time to pair them up again.

Not many (if any) were unhappy when he signed.
Now they are doing their usual of turning on a player.
If he is a confidence player (as most are) he will be ruined at Cardiff.
