Loan | Sheyi Ojo goes out on loan for the season :

Winger Sheyi Ojo has joined K.V. Kortrijk on loan for the 2023/24 season.

Ojo aged 26 will be out on loan for the whole of this season.


Sheyi came off the bench in City's Carabao Cup game against Colchester United earlier this month, scoring his penalty to aid our victory. Ojo is the second Bluebird to have made the move this summer, joining Isaak Davies at De Kerels.

We'd like to wish Sheyi all the very best.

His performance in the home defeat to Swansea stands out in my head. Did absolutely no running, no fight (as mentioned above) and just stood around with his hands on his hips.

There is a player in the somewhere, but I want to see players 'busting a gut' and wearing the shirt with a bit of pride.

Right decision to loan him out and he won't be back, his contract is up next summer and it won't be renewed.

Glad we're finally using Tan's other club to loan players out. Should have done this a long time ago. Other clubs who have an owner that also owns another club do this and it works.

We're not short of players, especially out wide. We have Grant, Bowler, Tanner, Colwill, Robinson, O'Dowda who can all play there. You don't need more than that.

We are short on CM, CB and a striker. Those signings will happen and Ojo has no impact on that anyway.
