Winger Sheyi Ojo has joined K.V. Kortrijk on loan for the 2023/24 season.

Sheyi came off the bench in City's Carabao Cup game against Colchester United earlier this month, scoring his penalty to aid our victory. Ojo is the second Bluebird to have made the move this summer, joining Isaak Davies at De Kerels.

Hopefully a change of scenery will get him his confidence back. He struggled for almost all of last season.

A little surprised but the right decision, I think. Only showed flashes of his real ability and I would suggest that one of the players (one deal done and one very close) will be a direct replacement...

Thats 2 weve loaned to them now

Perhaps they can return the favour and loan us their centre forward Pape Habib Guèye if the Moore move doesn't come off

I believe top clubs were sniffing around last year. 23 year old 6ft2 and not a bad goals record

Great minds and all that. I didn't see that coming but it's a sensible move I guess. Not sure what it is with him but he's a frustrating one as there's a player in there somewhere so hopefully this may be a catalyst in finally getting him clicking?

Agreed. There definitely is a player in there somewhere. I did take me by surprise, but if the incoming player is a decent upgrade then it could be good buisness.

Would off sold him.
Unfortunately not the player he was when he was with us before.

Good luck...personally would have kept in squad over tanner but a chance for him to shine and come back a better more consistent player. Good luck Ojo
