We need a CDM who can play the ball out. That's for sure

Is this the game changing signing? Feels like we are scraping the barrel with this one.

Well I have.He started for Greece in there last international match against France in June. He is a hard working defensive midfielder with a good pass on him.

Definitely a better barrel than usual, may I ask what knowledge you have of this player?

Well if Dalman stated a game changing player, you don’t expect 99% of city fans having to google him to find out who he is

Know where you’re coming from but just because he’s not a name on everyone’s lips doesn’t necessarily mean he’s a bad player.

Probably not. Think it’s possible we’ve missed out in a few.

Could be the same Greek holding midfielder that Goutas' cousin mentioned to me last Saturday?

Bulut should know a lot about Siopis as he played for him when he was manager of Alanyaspor. The player moved onto Trabonspor who won the Turkish title in his 1st season there.

Re: Emmanouil Siopis?

Putting a potential player down before he’s even signed or kicked a ball… why are we the most fickle fans in the league? where did this entitlement come from? We can’t purchase any players, Bulut has worked wonders in recruitment thus far. Sourcing international players and not lower league dross as we have been doing the past years.

His contract was only terminated yesterday by Trabzonspor, so unless Goutas has a crystal ball then who knows. :?:

Andrew, I don't (see where he's coming from) as some are assuming that because they haven't heard of him, he can't be a very good player...

IF/WHEN he comes (nothing confirmed yet and we know this club ;) ) we shall see from his appearances and a genuine assessment can be made... :ayatollah:

Where did I say he was not a good player. I just said if he is the game changing player Dalman is talking about I would not expect to have to google him. Game changing players which let’s face it are few and far between as usually well known

In not answering for Sven but I’m pretty sure he was talking about the Eastleigh Blue character that stated we are scraping the barrel with this one.

Unfortunately we have a number of posters on here that like to judge a player before he’s even here and probably have never even heard of him before.

For me, I’d rather trust our manager than some of the clowns that post on here.

Fair enough but no one has said he is the 'game-changing' player, if it is he who arrives...

OriginalGrangeEndBlue hits the spot with his comments above and whilst not specifically aimed at EastleighBlue, that is the type of comment that grinds with the majority...

The one source I trust on here says we are working on something else but it is far from a 'done deal' to this point... :ayatollah:
