Ex Cardiff City player Philogene could be in his way to Hull City for £5mill.

A host of Championship clubs are interested in the 21 year old including clubs from abroad.



Philogene wants regular first team Villa and Premier League Villa can’t guarantee him that.

The 21 year old is keen to join Championship club Hull City.

Philogene grew to become one of Cardiff's fiercest attacking options last season, playing a vital role in keeping the Bluebirds in the Championship with his goals and trickery.

He impressed at Villa in pre-season and indeed Unai Emery told him he wanted to keep him around the club this season.

As a result, Hull are looking to pounce and are said to be locked in talks over a deal to take him to Humberside. They also report that Stoke City, Ipswich Town and foreign clubs are monitoring the situation.

£5M feels alot, but he's the kind of player that if he keeps improving, could end up as a premier league player and worth x5 of that.

Hull are closing in a deal with Villa having come to an agreement over the sale of Jaden Philogene.

It has been claimed that a £5 million deal has been negotiated for the 21-year-old, who is keen to earn consistent game time.

Emery was hopeful of holding onto the youngster, but his route to first team football has proven too difficult, and so he is set to depart Villa Park.

Philogene spent last season on loan with Cardiff City, where he made 37 appearances in the Championship.
