Man Utd academy product Charlie Wellens aged 21 back on Cardiff radar. Bluebirds hopeful of signing.

Dalman is a big admirer.

Dalman wants Wellens and has wanted him for over a year, United have held on to him, but after his two loans out are happy to release him.

Wellens has spent the last 2 seasons out on loan at Non League Oldham and League 1 Barnsley.

Manchester United are will to release him.

He makes a good point. But taking a 20year old from Man United 'should' come with some pedigree. Even if he is only used to bulk out the u21s.

to say someone failed at a top club so he won't make something of himself is a bit of a joke really (the twitter or facebook response) not saying he's like declan rice in any regard, but he was released by chelsea and told he wans't good enough, now a £100m player. he might not be good enough for uniteds 1st team, but might slot in with us, end up being a very shrewd bit of business.

i do think by 21 you should know about players whether they are good enough or not, however football is a funny sport and he might be great, and besides its a free transfer so i am not really worried
