Can another championship side, do the same ? I can't think of one !

Mate, but just look not one from a major force? In the football world they are not even countries that are rated, even Wales have gone backwards.

Mate, but just look not one from a major force? In the football world they are not even countries that are rated, even Wales have gone backwards.
Not many “major force” internationals sign for championship clubs, unless you want washed up players

Thats a fair mix but back in the very old glory days - the twenties - we held the record for international players. I think we had at least 13 on our books, possibly more. These were mainly Welsh players, though we also had a few Irish and Scottish players. I have a feeling we had the captains of two possibly three of the home nations. We may have held the record in the Football League until the sixties or seventies when Leeds possibly broke it. Nowdays, unless they are English hardly anyone in the Premier League is not an international.
