MY VIEW / OPINION:

CITY TODAY PLAYED THE CURRENTLY WORST TEAM IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP & PLAYED WELL AT TIMES / BUT ALSO STRUGGLED / BUT THANKS TO A PEN / 3 PTS

For me two poor teams.

We got the three points

A MASSIVE 3 PTS


RAMSEY QUALITY


Can we build from here?

12 games and I will give my honest opinion.

Wednesday could of won this.

The Cardiff Commentator kept saying how tired we looked and kept saying this???

What about Wednesday players??

I thought we were fitter than ever?

WE GOT THE LUCK AS THEY SAY / A PEN SAVES US.



FIRST-HALF: Poor half, City though shoukd of been winning. At the moment No better than last season and same problems against a Wednesday team.



SECOND-HALF: City score, great goal, but then Wednesday took control. It was all Wednesday and they got a superb equaliser.

Cardiff should of been winning.

Wednesday go close as Paterson fires across goal, but we go into the break goalless.

Cardiff have been the better team and had plenty of chances, but just haven't taken them.


But over all a poor half.

A big win.

People said the last few weeks no good having performances if we don't win but what will they say today after we have won?!

I think we deserved it because we had far better chances than Wednesday.

Up and running at home now and looking forward to the rest of the season.

Good times ahead

We need a striker and a centre half! Something doesn’t look right in that back four, very shaky on times. Critical first win for Bulut though.

Few players needed this for confidence. Ramsey and Siopis are going to be massive

Its a welcome home win and more important 3 pts.

I thought we edged the game overall but unlike at Leicester where we should have won this time luck was on our side.

We now need to build on this.

I thought we just about deserved that the monkey is off our back now onwards and upwards!!!!

Wins a win that will do me as about time we needed a bit of luck and a late goal seems we've had them against us so far Tbh I didn't think tanner was anywhere near the 1st team level but come on and had a go at them again unlike most players side ways passing and backwards all the time he's having a run at the other team and done well so good to see. Maybe a start next game who knows what the manager will do

We really need a right back I love ng but going forward and pace wise he just don't have it either a cb in a three or he would probably do well as a holding midfield. At times we played great today and also crap I welcome the 3 points we will build from this

We should of won it by more tbh we had a lot more chances than them.

Sipous was brilliant the little terrier in midfield we've been lacking .Tanner was great again , Colwill tbh don't think he's good enough .

Sipous was class, but got a little tired
We needed to score the second because there was a spell after the goal when we were so on it, but we ran out of steam and needed to make the subs then, but instead, we dropped deeper.

I thought Ralls was back to his best at points thought he was Rambo, far more offensive.

Collins is still using up credit from two opening games last season when a wing-back, sadly as a flat back four left back he was our weak point, but its still very early days in his recuparation.

Meite looked fcuked after 60 mins and Ugbo did nothing but score, but what a skill that is

I am happy with that, now we build and kick on

What a player sopius is going to be , he is brilliant , just what we need and he is gonna play of Ramsey really well, they are going to be class together .
Tanner must start for me and meite is no good , too many chances missed now from him .
O dowda was off pace today , but we’ve got the first win which confidence will come now hopefully.
Nice to see Vince the drummer back too

I thought Ralls was outstanding today. He put in excellent crosses first half and the pass through to O'Dwada was class.

Siopis was excellent and I think he will get even better when he improves his understanding of championship football

Meite gave us more of a target man & a presence in the 9. He had to score the head which was on a plate for him. His decision to shoot when an easy pass to Tanner was on was poor and it came just before their goal.

I thought Ugbo did very little but score and Tanner looked very bright in the same position. If he keeps growing in confidence he could be a massive positive and not one anyone expected.

Both CBs very solid today and another good game from Alnwick with an outstanding save from the header.

Decent win today but we got to put our chance away O’Dowd a could have put us two nil up and not long after tanner was in arces of space screaming for the pass to come to him and he didn’t get it but I’m happy with the three points win is a win

A Welcome Win and Good to see that We can get a late goal for a change

For me this game could of gone either way, thankfully it went our way and as I’ve said before you make your own luck as it all evens out.

I took my 3 kids (ages 5,9 and 11) to their first city game today and they absolutely loved it!!!

From beginning to end they were joining in with the singing and chants.

We all thought Goutas was man of the match and that the keeper had a great game.

My wife (who played for City ladies many years ago) agreed with me that City were the better team and were all over Wednesday, except for the 10 min period when they scored.

It was great seeing 100% commotment from Rambo and Ralls and really looking forward to seeing more of the new Greek MF (can't spell his name!) - he's going to be a great signing for us.

All in a great day out and looking forward to the next trip back

Nearly 2 points dropped, Bannan had a good game for them, but a good result to build on. We'll finish way above them come May.
