Were they even at the match. Terrible scores. Many of the players were better than that. Pathetic.

Batshit crazy IMO

Here's how the Bluebirds rated:

Jak Alnwick 6

Put his body on the line to defend a dangerous cross at the end of a quiet first half before denying Windass with a fine stop in the second. Nothing he could do about Bannan’s strike.

Mark McGuinness 5

Missed a chance to open the scoring as he skied a golden opportunity from very close range. Didn't do much else wrong.

Dimitrios Goutas 5

Looked nervy early on, but grew in confidence as the game went on. A few decent blocks from the summer signing who was certainly vocal as his side were faced with an onslaught of Wednesday corners in the second half.

Jamilu Collins 6

A calm head and mopped up pressure well. If being critical, he misplaced a pass as Cardiff looked for the winner.

Perry Ng 6

Along with Ramsey, he was always looking to get things moving. Highlight was a beautiful ball into O’Dowda to set up the first goal.

Joe Ralls 5

Wasn’t overly involved in first half, but came alive early in the second, seeing a low driven effort from distance saved before setting up a few decent chances

Manolis Siopis 7 (star man)

Proved a handful for Wednesday from the off. Nearly got early goal as he dragged his effort just wide from a corner. Got under the visitors' skin on more than one occasion and squared up to Vaulks after the former City man had a cheeky kick out at him. An entertaining player to watch.

Aaron Ramsey 6

Looked a little off the pace in the opening minutes but grew into the game and was Cardiff’s main creative outlet for much of the contest as he looked to get things moving.

Callum O'Dowda 5

Will definitely want to forget his miss in the first half. Probably should have put away another one early in the second half but played a great header down to Ugbo to set up the opening goal.

Yakou Meite 5

Showed his pace and power early on as he bore down on Wednesday goal. Great physical battle between him and Diaby in the first half of which he can count himself the winner. Less impactful in the second half.

Ike Ugbo 6

Looked lost for most of the first half, but came firing out of the blocks after the interval. Took his goal really well, with Vasquez in the Wednesday net not standing a chance with his rifled effort.

Subs:
Tanner 5 - Denied as he pushed for a third Cardiff goal late on

Wintle 6 - Had the unenviable job of converting a 97th-minute penalty, but did it with ease as he kept his cool to become Cardiff's hero.

Colwill 5 - Had the crowd on its feet as he bore down on goal after Wintle's penalty, but arguably did too much when he should have played a simple pass.

Grant 5 - Muscled off the ball shortly after coming on but linked up well with Colwill down the left side

Etete 5 - Didn't make a huge impact in his short cameo.

Think they must’ve been at a different game lol Alnwick made some amazing saves. Tanner was class when he came on and Siopis was at least an 8 and Ralls had his best game in a city shirt for a while

Must have had a work experience in again, had a few too many in hospitality or just clueless

Who cares tho yes we’ve played better and lost but most importantly we got the win and 3 important points which will hopefully give the team confidence to kick on. In parts today I thought we played some good football and played until final whistle. Patience is key

Mcguiness and Goutas only 5 out of 10?!! - absolute bollocks - who was the clown that suggested that??

Shocking ratings!
Goutas had a great battle with Smith for 60 mins and won it, way better than a 5!
