Kieffer odds

Bluebirds clear favourites to sign Kieffer, folks.

BitcoinCasinos.com: Kieffer Moore to sign for before September 4, 2023

Cardiff: 1/2

Sheffield United: 3/1

Sunderland: 6/1

Just came through to me:

The Kieffer Moore thing is definite about returning to CCFC.

Kieffer definitely has asked to come back to Cardiff City.

I said that 2 months ago, Bournemouth have held up it up and understandable.

Bournemouth get a striker in - and Moore himself will force the move back to Cardiff through, providing some rival doesn't come in with stupid money, in which case the Cherries will immediately cough up the £1,000,000 they still owe Cardiff from the January 2022 deal.

Erol Bulut has kept quite publicly but he definitely wants Kieffer Moore and so does Dalman.

BUT:

Thought I'd make the point - because of some posts this morning - if we do secure Moore on loan from Bournemouth, whether it be for a full season or until the January window, we would need to pay 100% of the contract he has with the Cherries.

This is a strict stipulation of the transfer embargo the club is currently operating under.

Moore's basic at Bournemouth is around £18k per week, bonuses and appearance money take it north of £30k per week.

But he hasn't got to go. Even if Bournemouth accept a big offer as he is under contract.

Re: Latest on Kieffer Moore:

Mon Aug 28, 2023 3:35 pm

Good news, let's hope Bournemouth get the striker they want before Friday.

I know we would have to pay all his wages up to £30k a week which is quite a lot, but I definitely think it would be worth it.

If we can get Moore and Bulut gets a CB which I think he will, we'll be looking in a good state :bluebird:

Re: Latest on Kieffer Moore:

Mon Aug 28, 2023 3:37 pm

I'd take him back in a heartbeat. Think he'd do well under Bulut and provide the muscle and nous we need as a target man.

Re: Latest on Kieffer Moore:

Mon Aug 28, 2023 3:54 pm

It would be great to have Moore back, but would it be worth the money? Realistically we will not finish in the top 6 this season as there are teams in this league much better than us with more financial clout. Would the club be better consolidating around the mid table area and building for next season with the aim for a promotion push. I don't believe the current team is relegation fodder and with a few more players being added now or in the January window could get us a top half finish outside of the top 6. :bluescarf:

Re: Latest on Kieffer Moore:

Absolutely I would have him here in a heartbeat.
I think we would be mad not to

Re: Latest on Kieffer Moore:

Mon Aug 28, 2023 4:12 pm

£30k a week?????????????????????? He needs to pay us £20k a week for downing tools for half a season. I was slowly changing my mind about not wanting him anywhere near the club but at £30k a week it's not worth the cost.

The same people on here are complaining about the club taking a gamble on an unproven player on £2k a week are more than willing to give Moore £30k a week on the chance that he might score a few goals. And don't tell me he's guaranteed to score at this level as there are clubs who would be more than happy to pay Bournemouth the £1 million they would want for him if it was as guaranteed as some keep saying but there doesn't appear to be a bidding war for his services.

After last season I don't think we can take anything for granted so if the opportunity arises to bring in a player who we know can do the business in this division I believe we should take it. I agree we should have enough about us not to get dragged into a relegation dogfight but it makes sense to strengthen now and not rely on a scramble for points come January.

Re: Latest on Kieffer Moore:

No-one has ever said Keiffer would guarantee 20 goals. You'd need Haaland or Harry Kane for that!

Keiffer did score 20 in a season for us and he's proven at Championship level.

Who have City got right now in the squad who'd get double figures in goals this season? Keiffer would be more likely to than anyone else.

Whilst I agree that it's a no brainer to sign Moore, I would say that Ugbo has three goals in four games. That gives him a very good chance of reaching double figures.

Re: Latest on Kieffer Moore:

Mon Aug 28, 2023 4:38 pm

Yes agree - if Ugbo keeps it going he'll be on for 20+.

Just wish he was a bit stronger, more aggressive as for me he gets knocked off the ball a bit too easily.

Back in the day I remember Steve Thompson bagging a brace on his home debut and I started dreaming of a prolific marksman for City but we all know what happened there!

Fingers crossed Ugbo keeps it going as we need the goals

Re: Latest on Kieffer Moore:

Why on earth would Kieffer Moore want to leave a PL club for a struggling Championship club ? And why on earth would a struggling, financially strapped Championship club want to pay £30,000 per week for one player ?

Re: Latest on Kieffer Moore:

Mon Aug 28, 2023 4:48 pm

Perhaps City have a little more ambition this season?

Moore's basic is 18k pw - see above. We're undoubtedly paying that to several members of the current squad.

Bournemouth are struggling in the Prem and KM isn't getting a look in!

Early days with City - I'll tell you if we're struggling 10 or 12 games in. Keiffer knows the club and the set up here so a move could make sense for all parties plus the Cherries owe us £1 million

Re: Latest on Kieffer Moore:

I will say it again he is not coming not now not ever!!!.

100% correct statement.

Moores time here last should not come into it now it was under mc'carthy he got rid of tge wingers harry wilson holliet etc and moore was left on his own and lets be honest it was dire under mc carthy and nobodys was playing for mick now we have ramsey on board a new manager and team and we all know we need a striker who is proven not many knocking about at the moment.

Re: Latest on Kieffer Moore:

I would argue, if Ugbo can keep his current form up through the season in terms of goal scoring, we don’t need Moore.
The money can be used elsewhere in positions that need the depth, such as centre back.

If I remember correctly I think that start panicked Thommo whi very shortly after said he didn't normally do that every week in a bad to dampen expectations! Good player though.

Big difference, Moore can play a lot better than Ugbo and brings more to the plate.
Always looking for the runs, chasing down balls, holding up the ball and bringing others into play. His heading ability is second to none in the championship (in my opinion) and opposition always seem to have two marking him, leaving spaces for our other players.
Agree with the above too, judging him under other managers here is not right.
I believe he will excel under Bulut.
How can anyone blame him for not staying here is beyond me !?!?!
£30k plus add-on’s seems a bargain for what he would bring us.
Only my opinion. :old: :bluebird:

Sorry not worth 30k a week what happens after his contract is up , he's off again as he's not settling for less money ?

Play with Ramsey, play at home of Welsh football.

A bridge to be crossed as and when Steve.
We need him now to get us to the next window when we can buy players.
An expensive stop-gap yes, but much needed ATM.

I'm not sure we have to pay the full wages under embargo,we just can't pay any more than the contract or any loan fees

We can all pack up and go home; despite the positive rhetoric that iscoming from every normally reliable source...

It might still not happen; but it won't be for a lack of trying on both the Bluebird and Keiffer front...! ;)

Re: Latest on Kieffer Moore:

I for one would have no problem paying Kieffer £30k if the rumours are true that the like of Sawyers and OJO are/were getting £23k :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Re: Latest on Kieffer Moore:

Tue Aug 29, 2023 10:40 am

£30K for a full international with experience of banging in goals at this level is the going rate.

I honestly cannot understand the resitance to this one. The 'down tools' response lacks all kinds of context. If he wants to come and we can get him, go get him.

If we have an in form striker then what an option off the bench. He makes our squad better.

Re: Latest on Kieffer Moore:

Tue Aug 29, 2023 12:59 pm

Isn't there some sort of offset on wages against the million they owe us?

At least pay the 30k KNOWING that we will get some back when the £1million comes our way.

Re: Latest on Kieffer Moore:

Everton not going for Che Adams now so perhaps he will go to Bournemouth?

After reading Annis' initial post and the 30k (with bonuses) what you posted were my exact thoughts. Love him and the team to prove us wrong though, however there are some really strong promotion contenders this year.
