A forum for all things Cardiff City

Someone said we had 76% of the possession which is not like us. Well that was because we played it out from the back and we look very comfortable with it, even more so after the sending off.
Great support for an away midweek game and a great start to get us all settled. I can't comment on the first goal as it was scored in the goal the other end of the pitch to where we stood. The 2 other goals we all had perfect views of some crisp passing and great finishing.
Only real drawback was their goal which from what we saw was very good. Overall an impressive performance.

Didn't think much of Brum and their support!
Chatting to one steward before the game he said there's a real feel good factor since their takeover and they expected a comfortable win!
Fans... Very quiet.
Their team. 5 starters from their last league game. They're 3rd. Throwing the hashtag #undefeated all around their stadium too!
They were awful. Must've had some easy fixtures so far this season?!
But as I said on another thread... We were fantastic.

Their support was bad. I think the early goal shocked them. Their vocal lot were to our right in the back couple of rows. At the end that young lad amused me with his tantrum.
The only question I have was what sort of team did the Brum put out. 5 starters from their last game tells me not a bad team at all. That excludes Etheridge who now is their no 2. It was great to see him acknowledge us when he came to defend the goal in front of us at the start of the second half, followed by the Ayatollah. I didn't pick up on Dion Sanderson playing for them where he was their captain too. Is he still at Wolves?

Yeah. Took me a while to realise it was Sanderson too! Their vocal support was about 10 lads stood at the back! Poor.
I had a look on their forum, also very quiet, but the main feeling before the game was that they had picked a strong team. And post match that they should've beaten 'that' Cardiff team!
We'll be ok this season on that showing! Onwards and definitely upwards.
