Official " Ryan Allsop leaves Cardiff City "

Ryan Allsop has today completed a permanent transfer to Hull City for an undisclosed fee, subject to clearance.

The goalkeeper joined City in June 2022 and made 43 appearances for the Bluebirds, keeping 12 clean sheets.

We'd like to thank Rocky for his efforts during his time in South Wales, and wish him all the very best for the future.

Good luck. Just not the keeper we need right now. Obviously enjoys a relegation scrap and that's just not us anymore!

Nice guy too. Called my son down before Burnley last game of the season and gave him his gloves and training top.

Wasn’t a very good keeper at this level. League 1 at best - IMO. I always preferred Alnwick and I’m glad that Bulut has seen this too.

I agree, much happier with Alnwick and Runarsson.

Note to Bulut:-

When we play Hull this season put as many crosses into the box as possible.

Decent keeper. Not spectacular. Was fun to watch him skin a few forwards in our penalty area when he first arrived. Like when he put Hugill on his butt. And wish him well at his new club.
I’d say he’s been part of the evolution of the playing style of the squad, being happy with the ball at his feet. We weren’t used to that at all. We’ve moved it on a bit again and we’ve received a fee for him. He came on a free didn’t he? If so, a decent outcome for us.
