Bulut’s Knowledge of the English Market…

He seems to have a very good knowledge of the English game, or is being very well advised. The interest in the likes of Panzo and now possibly Danny Baat for example. He’s obviously done excellent research or someone in the club’s scouting system is working wonders. All very impressive isn’t it.

I think it’s a combination of both to be honest.
The transfer committee have pulled off some real coups over the last 9 months.

At practically every club now, transfer targets are identified by a club's recruitment team. We recently got a new head of recruitment.

The manager says what positions he thinks he needs players in and the recruitment team identify players.

Then it's down to the manager to impress players enough for them to join which is what Bulut has done very well.

I while back I remember hearing a rumour that Alan pardew was consulting the club not sure that's correct tho .
