Agree with both sides of this BUT there is a psychological play here: your manager is stating in effect that he's ok with losing both games to us. Words get in players heads.

Dave Jones said near enough the same, and the relationship with the fans was never the same. These northern managers would not say the same if Liverpool played Everton or was in Scotland and it was between Celtic v Rangers. Northern monkeys - have no time for them.

Looking forward to this derby. I think we'll win. Intresting what our line up will be. Hopefully Bowler is fit and ready to be direct.

It will be more tense, even if we are two nil up at half time after the last few games, Bulut as a lot of back to basics defending work to do between now and then, at our best we've really good at times this season.

That's a catastrophic mistake, he has totally underestimated how inferior they feel to their Capital and the importance of this game to their fans. Their view is the polar opposite, If they lose this now he's toast, it will just be a case of how quickly they have to replace him.

The difference being Dave Jones typically had us up and around the playoff places.

Jacks haven’t even won a game yet this season so I can see why their fans are peed off that he’s coming out with things like that, especially as it appears to be the only thing their fans actually care about

We know what has happened in the last 2 seasons in these 2 games - Time to avoid defeat and / or get a Win

Unique are Swansea.. only one of our rivals who never turned up here. Even Wrexham and Newport would have a go.
