If the likes of Romain Sawyers, Andy Rinomohta and Vontae-Campbell can be leant out or permanently transferred to overseas clubs within those countries' transfer windows we could get circa £50k per week off our player wage bill with immediate affect.

There has to be a significant shove by the club now to exploit this opportunity.

This can only strengthen our financial hand come the January window when we won't have the encumbrance of a EFL transfer embargo.

We could be well-placed in the Championship by then, assuming the new squad is gelling, and a top-six push will be a real possibility.

There is also the reality of Financial Fair Play. Many of our rivals appear oblivious to this - in fairness to the current Cardiff City Board, they are consistently alive to the danger of breaching EFL ruling on this topic.

We have all been rightly critical of some of the Board's absurd past decisions and management - but in recent months we've seen a real effort to improve fan communication and give slicker managerial decisions.

Whether or not we believe Erol Bulut's management to be effective, he has been financially backed in terms of his support staff, the balancing of player transfer budgets and preparation for games, flights ✈️ and appropriate hotels etc.

I thought they was all told to find new clubs weeks before the transfer window shutting but then again who's going to pay them there wages there having here that may be the problem or clubs don't see them good enough to justify the wages they have to pay. It could be something else.

I think we need to give a manage time, time to build a squad and learn. I think Jan and summer windows along with another preseason and next year we'll give it a go.

Personally we'll be between 15th and 18th by January.

Personally I def don’t think we will make top 6, but it’s early days.

But the way Bulut talks, I only win games etc etc etc
And the way everyone is talking about this squad yet again, then we should be aiming too 6.

No chance in top 6 this season , gona be a season of gelling , think we will have some great wins but some bad losses , but should be very strong next season
