Rob Page was so desperate to try and finally win a game:

What the heck is Page doing sending Ramsey on for 30plus mins? He doesn’t need game time, has played a lot for Cardiff. This game is irrelevant - Latvia on Monday and the south wales derby 5 days on aren’t.

And yet again Wales don’t win and it’s now 1 win in 13 games.

We won’t win anything under Page. He should’ve been sacked after our embarrassing World Cup campaign.
He is an embarrassment and I wish he would leave. He brings on league one players and yet spouts bllocks about how wales are stamping their authority on the game.

Don't understand why he came on the hour mark - when Page took off players who could start on a must win game Monday.

Morrell and Moore coming on I understand - along with Burns - Sheehan - Brooks - Given Game Time .

Didn't watch the game.

But I saw that Ramsey played half an hour and couldn't believe it. He's played at least 60 minutes in every league game, and 90 minutes on Saturday.

He didn't need to play at all tonight for a friendly game, getting plenty of minutes. Page should have just saved him for Monday and probably would have got a good 70 minutes out of him. Instead he risked him getting an injury which he fortunately didn't get and now he'll probably only get 55-60mins of a good Ramsey performance on Monday. The good news is I think Ramsey will be alright to play for us next Saturday as he'll have enough days to rest after Monday, barring any injury obviously. Helps that our game on the Saturday is a late kick off.

It made sense to give the likes of Johnson, Moore and Brooks minutes because they haven't played as much. But not Ramsey.

I completely disagree. In a week when physical training in the day would have been pretty much impossible due to the heat, to have a 30 min run out in the late evening cool was an eminently sensible thing to do. Great management by Page who got the need to blend in some new players with the need to prepare the team for Latvia just about right.

He would have taken a different view with different opponents and the tackles been flying in. But that's all about the balance of risk. I was more worried about the fragility of Brooks but he absolutely needed some time.

Increased the chance of him getting injured before the Jacks is pathetic for a friendly!!!!

I don't see any issue with him getting 30mins, to be honest. 60mins, different story but a quick run out in a nothing game to add to sharpness; fine by me.

It was beyond a nothing game, even Page said he did want the game, that says it all.

We need him for 100 minutes, Wales needs him for 100 minutes so next Saturday he would have played 230 minutes in just over one week, That's way too much for a player of that quality at that age who gets injured when he overdoes it!

Absolutely Spot on Mark.

Agree that Rambo didn’t need to play in friendly although Giggs gets hammered on here for not playing Friendlies for Wales under the orders of Ferguson!
However on S4C the commentators suggested it might have been Rambo who decided he wanted to play for 30 minutes in an attempt to win the game and he almost did when Kieffer’s header hit the post and came to him too quickly!

What if he gets injured mowing his lawn? He's an athlete!

I'd much rather regular internationals with a risk of injury when representing their countries than some of the drab we've had in recent years.

Anything more than 30 mins, I'd say would be an issue.

He's injury free as a result. No harm done.

If Rambo would have got injured in those 30 mins - Page would not have only Wales fans asking for his head on a plate - All bluebird fans would have been screaming for his resignation -
