“ EROL BULUT WILL TODAY UPDATE CARDIFF CITY “ After 4 defeats to Swansea in a row, Erol Bulut has the task of putting this right, this Saturday night:

Injuries?
We have some small problems. Tomorrow we will have better results for one or two players. But generally most of the players will be on the field and in the squad.
Even with an injury - when it’s a derby you get fit!

Maybe for someone else. But when someone says derby to me, it means something else. I know what a derby means.

Ramsey coming off concern you?
He changed in the 49th minute. I knew about his injury, his stiffness on his adductor. He had it before, the games he played here. But he managed it well. He went out and he managed it - our physios managed it. He was on the pitch, tomorrow he will be with us. Hopefully on the pitch Saturday, too.

Derbies?
I had a few in my career! 20 years as a professional, seven as a manager. At Fenerbahce, too, I know derbies well.
As a player, and a manager, when you sign for a club and play derbies, you don’t need to get it explained from someone else just how important a derby is. When you sign as a coach, you should know how to handle it and how to go on the field.
I can tell you only one thing - Saturday, in the stadium, on the field, we will be a team. I don’t need to tell them, they know it already.

Michael Duff said he’d rather win promotion and lose to Cardiff twice…
I would like to get promoted and win twice! I was told as a manager to always go for the maximum - so we will try to go for this. The first step will be on Saturday.

You know how important it is for everyone connected?
Of course. Fans know better than me. Two weeks ago I was in the city centre I was in a pub with Cardiff fans. So I understood it really well, what the derby means.
The pub was good. A lot of blue shirts around me!

International window, how has it been for you?
We missed six players who were away with national teams. We trained well and had a friendly game, which gave us many things for the players who were here. It was good. Against the ball we have to be more aggressive and we did a good job.
We need to be more aggressive, more sharp. We need that on Saturday.

Against a manager, one day or two days before the game, walking around the city, they will not say bad things. But game day it’s different - everyone sees you like an enemy! It’s normal. Everyone knows what is going on because derbies are different.
You cannot say derbies are sure wins. Players, how they prepare for a game, mentally, it’s different.

They had small problems, Ramsey from the national team. I had a meeting with those players.

Joe Ledley says he has been "excited" by the Bluebirds so far this season ahead of the South Wales derby this weekend.
Swansea City have the chance for five derby wins in a row on Saturday evening but neither side are heading into the encounter in great form.
Both sit at the wrong end of the table after frustrating starts to the season under new managers. Ledley, however, has seen enough from Erol Bulut to feel a sense of excitement ahead of the fixture
"You have got to give credit to Swansea," Ledley told the BBC.
"They have dominated the last few derbies and it's been disappointing from a Cardiff perspective.
"I don't think they have been on the front foot in the recent games, they have sat in too deep.
"But I have been excited with Cardiff this season. Yeah results haven't gone our way, we have been unlucky, but I have watched the first two home games.
"There is a lot of positivity around the stadium. Rambo (Aaron Ramsey) has brought in massive experience and that creativity as well.
"They are scoring goals which they didn't have last season. I think if we can just sort out the defensive situations, we are in for a fantastic game."

We have to manage it - I have to manage it. I have tried already during the week to speak with them. We know what is going on but we have to be clever. We need to be aggressive. Fans will be aggressive, shouting and supporting us - but we have to be calm and be clever.
