British Red Cross Morocco Earthquake Appeal and Libya Floods Appeal - EFL Tribute
In recent days, we have all witnessed the devastation and trauma facing those living in Morocco and Libya.
The EFL is supporting the British Red Cross’ emergency appeals to help all those impacted.
As a mark of respect to those who have tragically lost their lives, the Bluebirds will be wearing black armbands and holding a minute’s silence at Saturday's fixture.

With so many "refreshed" supporters in the ground perhaps a minutes applause may be a more sensible idea?
Hope I'm wrong but I can't see a minutes silence being observed in any way shape or form which will not look good to a Saturday night TV audience.

Worryingly, I agree.
Absolutely right to respect this tragedy but there will be many fans in the stadium who have drunk plenty of alcohol. A minute's applause would sound much better.
To be honest, still in total shock that SWP have allowed this kick off time.
Looking forward to being at the game, not so much the mindless idiots.

Shoukd we turn it into a minute's clap?
Although that doesn't seem the most appropriate solution, at least it will drown out the village idiots...!

As predicted, didn't go well.
Don't know how it sounded on Sky, sometimes they mute the mics by the crowd in these moments.
But in the stadium there was initially noise by the Jacks and then a few of our idiots responding.
I still think it was crazy to make this a Saturday night kick off. There were people in the Canton concourse who were as good as unconscious.

It wouldn't have worked in any major UK derby, in my opinion.
Mindless how some cant seperate the rivalry for 60 seconds to pay respect to something unatached from the game!!
