Huddersfield Town FC:
Totally skint , Warnock given nothing this season.
Keeping Warnock for one more game.
Personally I see them going down this season
The majority of their fans are still for Warnock.
Huddersfield Town FC:
We can confirm that Neil Warnock's final fixture as Huddersfield Town Manager will be on Wednesday evening against Stoke City at the John Smith's Stadium.
Neil and Ronnie will depart with the eternal gratitude of all at the Club

Huddersfield Fan Dominic:
I think it's a bonkers decision to get rid of him.
Brave though because the fans will turn if the next manager goes wrong.
The love for warnock Saturday was crazy

From a Huddersfield fan:
100% warnock had just got the team moral up and consistent and had the young players playing like harratt.

Was reading their fan forums about this the other day, feelings there are that new owners led him to believe that he’d have the funds to build himself a team there, which is why he stayed on instead of retiring.
Then apparently he was told after the fact (I think he’s said as such in a post match interview) that the players whose contracts he renewed came out of that budget

Yes they promised him funds, he’s had zero.

Unless I am mistaken I dont think it is a case of Huddersfield getting rid of him. I think NW decided that it was time to go and, as a testament to the man that he is, he appears to have said that he is going but will cover the Stoke game so that Huddersfield can make replacement plans in the background.
I agree. It does look like they are going to be in a relegation battle.

Their owner tweeted criticising the team.
That's gonna piss NW off!

It was on sky sports news earlier. Warnock said that the board told him that a manager who they wanted had become available. He said he was not going to hang around if he wasn’t wanted.

Very unlike football to give him 1 last game, also. Very strange

He will always be a hero in my eyes

Who was that? Duff will be free by next week.
