10th so far in the Championship, I will take that.

Considering the opening 5 games we've had. To be 3 points off 4th is amazing. Especially when we've had a bit of bad luck in 3 games. Luck on our side we'd be in the mix for top 2 easy.

The last two home games in particular have given us a real platform - beating them lot and a good performance and 3 points against a Coventry side who got to the play-off final last season. Also, home wins are so important to get the fans back and build momentum.

The biggest area to work on is ensuring we push on and protect a lead and stop conceding when in front - I think the team has a massive hang-over from the last few years of being a bit soft. But I have growing confidence that Bulut can resolve this.

Last seasons flirt with relegation seems to have given everyone at the club a massive wake-up call.

We can all criticise Dalman for the last few years, but he has stepped up since the end of last season and he deserves credit for that.

After sat we will have played the 3 of the top 4 teams away at there grounds and also leeds away.

We have 2 of the bottom 4 coming up. That will perhaps answer a couple of questions.

Really happy with the start of the season and just as important the feel good factor around the club.
I do believe if we can get a 15 goal striker in January we will be top six.

Two great performances and results at home over the last week.

We need to win our home games again, and that's three wins out of four at home which is very promising.

I said after Ipswich that there were good signs from our start to the season despite not having many points, because we were playing well and that they would start to turn into results.

We have definitely improved a lot since the international break in terms of continuing with those good performances but also being able to get points from those performances.

We are getting better game by game.

At the moment, I see three standout teams in the league. Leicester and Ipswich have started very well, they look like they will continue like that. I also think that Leeds will be competing at the top once they get going.

Of course we have played all three of those away already and were by no means battered by them. In fact, we could have got points in all three of those games - we got one point in total from them but some would say we should have got more.

Apart from them, it's all to play for. Southampton don't look convincing at all. I wouldn't expect the likes if Preston to carry on like they are.


What is pleasing for us is we beat Coventry without Ramsey, Bowler and O'Dowda - we also didn't have the latter two against Swansea. That shows we have depth in the forward positions.

I have always said if we are around the top half around Christmas then we will have done well. We're in a good position to achieve that, and money may well be spent in January if we do.

We have a tough game on Sunday where a point would be brilliant. After that games against Rotherham and Middlesbrough, which at the moment look like an opportunity for six points.

This squad is better than the warnock promotion side, I really feel positive that we can make top 6 and then who knows .

The big difference for me from the past few seasons is the speed we are turning defence into attack, the constant sideways passing which allowed sides to get back and set up seems to have gone, largely down to the little Greek magician, his impact has been incredible, even without Rambo we looked so sharp and some of our passing was sublime,I’m still finding it difficult to come to terms with us actually looking like a footballing side!.

Calm down, going in the right direction yes. But crazy fans are saying we’re going to get playoffs. Early days

The recent results along with the off-field activities have been a major boon for the club and its brought back a feel good factor. Hopefully we do well this Sunday!
