Etete the new Bothroyd??

Mon Sep 25, 2023 7:37 am

Hear me out... was at the game yesterday, and his effort, and no little skill for me puts him ahead of Ugbo, who again I thought disnt impose himself on the game.

What frustrates me, is that more than any other player he sits on his backside when fouled ( and he does get fouled a lot with little protection) with his arms out wide complaining rather than get up and get on with it.

Hes improving and maybe, with lack of other options, deserves a chance. ( Unsure as to the reason behind lack of gametime for Robinson too?)

Agree - Etete needs to get up and get on with it if fouled.

Bothroyd? Etete has a long way to go. Bothroyds first touch was total class. Etete can still be like bambi on ice.

I do think he should start ahead of Ugbo though. Sorry to say but ibthink Ugbo hasn't done nearly enough last couple of games to justify starting matches.

Robinson: has had some injury issues but IMO should now be used more, perhaps on place of Ugbo. Robinson is a class operator in his position, creates and scores goals.
