‘ Kieron Evans & Jonathan Panzo ‘

Thu Sep 28, 2023 10:44 am

Last night v Blackburn who themselves made major changes and some played youngsters.

Kieron Evans 3 /10

Had a a few good pre-season games v Welsh league teams, but was just off it at Ewood Park. He and Panzo struggled to keep a lid on their attackers down that flank and he couldn't impact the game at the other end.
Evans will be 22 yrs old in 2mths, I don’t see a future at Cardiff for him and Bulut did tell him to find a new club.

Jonathan Panzo 3 / 10

Lost the ball way too often early on and just didn't look comfortable. Blackburn had a lot of joy down his side but Evans in front of him also struggled so there is mitigation. Shocker to concede the ball for Rovers' third. Too lax.
Still early days for him though.

Don’t think Evans has a future with us didn’t take his chance yesterday

Really Suprised he didn’t go out on loan don’t think Bulut was too impressed with that

Panzo is a really good player at this level but like others was way off it last night but he is going to be an important member of our squad this season

Beecher certainly looked a better prospect when he came on. A natural left back. But put 3 great balls in to the box that the attackers should've done better with!!

I didn't see the game so I cant really comment but did Evans play left back? I have seen him a couple of times in midfield and he has looked ok. That's his position.

Left wing back I'd like to say but he didn't do much defending. Tanner the same on the opposite side although he seemed to have Romeo who naturally drifted wide to help him out.

Pretty much a 3-5-2 formation.
