Erol Bulut:
"With Aaron Ramsey, two days ago, in training, he got an injury," Bulut said. "I have the report from our medical department that he will not be available to us for three weeks. Something with his tendon in his knee, the same knee he had an operation many years ago. Whether it’s a rupture or not, there will be a final check to see what the situation is.
"I hope we can have him back after the international break. But we are waiting for news on that.
"It was a turn or a change of direction to make a run. He was feeling pain behind his knee. They scanned and we are still waiting. It might be a rupture of a tendon. His right knee. I hope it’s not an operation, we have to avoid an operation and we will try to get it healed without an operation."

Ramsey was always going to pick up injuries, he needs to managed carefully. We have showed we can win without him, so let's crack on, and strengthen in January.

Erol said he was ill, that's why he didn't travel to Sunderland.
Mmm ? Hope Erol always tells us the truth.

Somebody posted there was a rumour going around last Saturday that he had a bad injury that could mean he would be out for months That seemed to have cold water poured on it when Bulut stated he was unwell. However that rumour may have been correct

He was injured in training on Monday ( after the Sunderland game ).

Is what we were told.
Don’t mean it’s true.

Gutted and could end up being a lot longer than 3 weeks me thinks. I thought we'd be lucky to get 30 appearances out of him. Perhaps that's a little optimistic too...however, let's put a positive spin on it, gives someone else a chance. Step forward Colwill or Robinson!

Why would they lie?

I agree; and it's good that we are about to enter another international break which will reduce the league games he misses for us...
As for the club lying? Why would they? Things tend to get out in such circumstances...
You just got to love the conspuracy theorists on here, who jump on any negativity...
Apparently, the thickos down the M4 West are feeding off the Rambo story, which shows their lunacy after the Bluebirds winning 9 points out of 9 with 2 of those games being without our talisman; and it all started thanks to them rolling over...!

He was walking without crutches or any boot when I saw him in Llanishen Village yesterday, he was driving his car so can’t be that serious ?

Sadly, some people just want to revel in any negativity surrounding the club...
Cue, NegativeNinian27 and others...

It just seems a hell of a coincidence that a rumour went around on Saturday that he was out for possibly 3 months and then this announcement,it certainly doesn’t look good for the next month or so but as has already been said, onwards and upwards.

As gutting as it is, we all knew he would pick up injuries.
Perhaps this is the chance that Colwill needs to finally break into the first team.

As for the jbs gloating over Ramsey's injury, apparently they got 3 with long term injuries including one out for the season.

Inevitable really, his pedigree can’t be denied but keeping him fit and on the pitch was always going to be the hardest thing.

I would be amazed if we get 20 games out of him this season to be honest
As for the club lying ? That makes no sense
Fri Sep 29, 2023 1:23 pm
Predictable. It won't be the only period he is out injured this season either!
Fri Sep 29, 2023 1:27 pm
hopefully just a strain, but i'm sure i read they think he might have ruptured tendon, which if that is the case, i think we're looking at atleast 3 months out
Fri Sep 29, 2023 6:06 pm
Hearing from a good source that it's not three weeks it's three months. Just passing on what I've been told.
Fri Sep 29, 2023 8:49 pm
Maybe we should play him every other game

I think it's fairly obvious isn't it. An injury like that is never going to be 3 weeks. My fear is his season is over already but hopefully he'll be back in the new year. Like a new signing in the January window. Can see that WOL headline now.
