Bulut yesterday had a big bust up.

Sun Oct 01, 2023 9:59 am

I was sat behind the dug out, Robinson was begging Bulut to play him, Bulut ignored him and at end of game Bulut and Robinson had a big bust up down the tunnel, both having ago at each other.

If this is true. Don't read too much into it. Sport players, managers etc are very passionate.
You'll soon see at Middlesbrough. I'd bet money Robinson starts and that's the reason he wasn't risked.
Its a bit of nothing rather than a bust up.

Well he could not ignore as he came on as a sub.

I think this is great news that Robinson was begging to get in, everyone wants to play for Bulut :bluebird:

If Robinson went it would be ab absolute travesty, particularly now with Rambo injured.

He's easily one of the most talented, creative players we have. He's not the type to run through brick walls and put in sliding tackles.

Unfathomable for me why Bulut wouldn't see his obvious qualities as a proven Championship striker / no.10

The fact is Robinson doesn't do the defensive work well enough.

Until that changes, he won't start league games.

Agree with you there .Bulut wants fully committed players with or without the ball

Quote (you): "Heard it with your own eyes", NegativeNinian27...? :? :o

You truly are the Messiah...! ;)

I think Martyn (Sneggy) is referring to the fact that yet again you come on here quicker than a John Buchanan exocet to peddle your negative shite...!

Do you not think players and managers have disagreements all the time or that sometimes it is a good thing that players show they want to be involved...? :?:

I'm pretty sure a strong character like Erol Bulut will dismiss it as 'nothing' and Robinson will play a big part in this season but hey, you peddle your shite if it soothes your absurd lust for negativity just as the club (and fanbase) or on the up...

Gawd 'elpus when we next drop points, eh...? ;)

As for January transfers, there's only one I'd like to see; and that's you being transferred to a certain other Forum that better suits your rhetoric and on which you and your negativity will be far more welcomed... ;) :laughing6:

Strange. They both were smiling as they hugged in front of the Ninian stand. I’d rather him be banging on the door desperately trying to play rather than sitting on the bench picking up his wages tbh.

I don't think Erol takes any prisoners judging his reactions during the game, he berated Etete so much that Kion did a 270 rather than catch the manager's eye and Tanners regularly takes a full-on rant.

He is their boss, not their friend

Exactly. I saw the rant he gave Etete when he didn’t come babk quick enough and was caught offside. He always speaks to Tanner after the match and he and Etete surely realise that this guy has improved them both and made them into regular first team players. Imo Bulut is an excellent man manager.

It shows that they all want to play which is a good thing and the manager has a right to manage. Keep up this fighting for places it can only be a good thing for the team.

Can’t remember Fergie being big mates with his players. Seemed to work ok for him.

True, bulut wants players that don’t shirk out of challenges, something Robinson has done

This is true and Robinson - including yesterday - was abysmal when he came on in my opinion. Trotted around like it didn’t matter. I’d much rather give Colwill a run before Robinson.

When it comes to challenges I saw Grant shit out of a couple as well.
Compare that to Ralls even with his niggling injuries in recent time actually going in hard and solid to try to win the ball.

Some fair points there, mate. Erol Bulut doesn't take prisoners and he expects the same of his players... :ayatollah:

They certainly seemed 'okay' walking around the pitch on the final whistle...

I note NegativeNinian27 has done his usual 'nip in nip out' ploy and I watch this space with bated breath... ;)

Robinson came on for Ralls

I have said for a long rime that Robinson is overated by many on here, and Etete was underated.(Etete is young and improving).
Robinson doesn’t work hard enough (by a long way) when not in possession.
I can understand that he isn’t a tackler, but also he doesnt close down effectively. He almost closes down, but doesn’t. Therefore we don’t press effectively when he plays.
I guess he can score a goal, and is ok as a squad player (an option off the bench). As I said when we bought him, the WBA fans were pleased that he left.
Maybe Bulut can get more from Robinson, and I’ll be pleased if he can. :bluebird:

Robinson, has good movement and nice touches. Not an out and out goalscorer and is too slow imo.
