" Rangers sack their manager "

Sun Oct 01, 2023 10:32 pm

Rangers have sacked Michael Beale as their manager after less than a year in charge.

They have lost three of their seven league games and are already seven points behind Celtic. They also were heavily beaten by PSV in a Champions League qualifier.

Beale left QPR to take the Rangers job last November.

For the first time since Malky and then god knows how long before that, I feel we’ve got a manager who other clubs might start sniffing around!

Cooper managed the vermin.
Clough Forest and Derby.
Probably lots more but can't be arsed.

To be fair, there's a huge difference between them and the rivalry between Celtic and Rangers. That rivalry goes way beyond football, as we all know.

Besides, he hasn't done anything at Ross County to suggest he's anywhere near good enough for the Rangers job.

I watched Ross County's two relegation play-off final games last season and they were fortunate in the end to stay up.

Agree but stranger things have happened at sea.

Now rivalry at the Edinburgh Derby is worse but always under reported, is that just the media keeping the religious agenda going?

He was not a Celtic fan, some say he was a Rangers fan some say Queens Park. I’d have him in a heartbeat for Rangers or Cardiff.

The media do fan the sectarian flames, as it sells but wouldn’t agree Hearts v The Spoonburners is in the same stratosphere as Rangers vPaedo FC. When it comes to rivalry.

This is the 21st century get the best man for the job. I am sure Rangers fans would agree I would not go for Lampard though
