" Good news on Aaron Ramsey's injury "

Wed Oct 04, 2023 4:04 pm

Wales manager Rob Page was asked by the press today, whether he expects to miss Wales' games in November.

He responded with this:

"I don't think there is going to be a spell of going beyond November he is going to miss.

So we are confident we will get him back for the November camp, providing how well he heals. We don't know. He might get to a certain point and have a setback. We will have to wait and see."

He also confirmed that Ramsey is NOT having an operation and is going down the natural healing route.

Ramsey will miss Wales' games against Gibraltar and Croatia this month but, as Page says above, he expects him to be available for the November fixtures against Armenia and Turkey.

Which sounds like he will be back playing for Cardiff City within the next month, and won't be out for the three months that had been rumoured :thumbright: :bluebird:

That's positive but does anyone know why we don't get that level of detail from the club? What's the big secret!?

He's a key player - supporters want to know the prognosis

Because he could get a set back and his return is then delayed. ( Just like Bowler and O'Dowda returns have been delayed).

i'm one of the people who said he'd be out for around 3 months, i say this from experience, i'm 32 and have several serious knee injuries, i'm not pro-athlete and don't have access to operations etc to fix any damage, but from experience they are usually extremely painful and long term problems with the knee. i think if he does come back for the November internationals that would be roughly around 1-2 months out, so not far off from the 3 months i guessed.

i'd love it to be just swelling and he's back to 100% after the international break though
