‘ Etete ‘

Cardiff's win over Rotherham United last weekend and Eyete’s performance against the Millers drew praise from EFL expery Ali Maxwell on the Not the Top 20 podcast.

“Big Kion Etete scoring a really nice goal and playing really well in the number nine role,” Maxwell said on the show. “It feels like everyone (at Cardiff) is stepping up, and that’s really exciting.”

Etete has taken a while to settle in south Wales but he has stepped up in recent weeks and Maxwell feels he has same sort of profile of Watkins and Calvert-Lewin.

Always said there's a player in there. All the attributes to succeed.

He's a bit PL in that he falls over and moans a lot. But he's slowly cutting that out.

And the big one, his finishing needed improvement. Glad we have a coaching staff who are improving players these days.
