Why is Sawyers who is on the transfer list brought on before Colwill ? Uttterly ridiculous

Personally think Colwill should be in the midfield 3 from the start, with Ramsey injured, as going forward he has so much ability.
But, Bulut obviously not happy with his game off the ball.

Can say the same about a few on there today. And not to even get on at all after some of those performances. If I was him I'd be knocking on door and saying what do I have to do

I think it was just down to the role being replaced, Sawyers was a better fit.
Colwill should come on instead of Robinson next game

100% We lacked creativity through the middle today

Manager bottled it and tried to shore it up rather than win....Time wasting at the end was pitiful as well

He was lost for what was going on with us after we took the lead. Of course as the manager he should pick up on these things and change it around. Guess there is not much you can do if your players are tired, even those one sitting on the bench.

Bulut is right, Colwill can't be relied on.

I am surprised you say that. You must think he can rely on Sawyers then, who really should not be near the team. I think it was crying out for someone like Colwill. Bulut got it all wrong today and he should take the blame for a very boring playing style at home. We are not one of the top Premier league teams who can play this type of football and get away with mistakes. Alnwick will take the blame today for trying to play that way. We were very lucky not to lose, in fact. Colwill needs to be given a chance from the start, not 15 minutes from the end, which he didn’t even get today.

Correct. Sawyers ahead of Colwill - piss poor decision.
Today was unfortunately mainly a turgid display of Ray Wilkins crab ball from the midfield who were largely static and devoid of forward movement.
Was crying out for Colwill and sadly our missing no.10.
We were damned lucky to get a point in the end.
Seems that Bulut maybe a little risk averse, particularly at home.

Colwill isn’t a risk, he’s a massive gamble.
The guy has skill there is no doubt about that, but he’s not shown enough to say he will be a match winner, small spells of it he has, but just like Tomlin if he hasn’t got the fitness he is going to make our task harder.
Whenever he’s been brought on he’s not made any big waves, and I think he is capable of a lot more. A loan might be great for him, he needs to get match sharp as it doesn’t look as though he is showing enough in training to push his way up the pecking order.
Today felt like we didn’t want to win the game, they didn’t create a single chance, and we created several for them

I agree.
I really think Colwill will make it but fitness wise he looks way off it at the moment.
The only real way of getting real match fitness is to play 60-90 mins regularly so a loan to Div 1 might be what’s needed physically and mentally.

Colwill hasn’t made a ripple, has only ripped up weeds, and struggles to knock the skin off a rice pudding. Something’s not right with this guy. Time to give him the Erol.
A Reporters View.
