Ruben Colwill and the comments on his display against a decent Birmingham City side in the League Cup.
He is the obvious replacement for Ramsey in the number ten position - certainly not Ryan Wintle.
Ryan is a solid midfielder but he does not have the natural creative fair of Reuben. Fact.
I get Ryan's selection in front of Siopis and Ralls when we are playing away for the high press, but not at the Cardiff City Stadium when we often need to unpick defences.
Erol Bulut has just extended Rueben's contract at the club so he must see a bright future for him at Cardiff.
So, with Ramsey now probably side lined until mid-December, at the very least, Reuben needs to be given his chance. He has natural ability in abundance and must be given the opportunity to display it - particular against the weaker Championship opponents.
Mark McGuiness was finally trusted and has developed by leaps and bounds - Reuben must be now given his head too

Don't think colwil does enough without the ball , when he loses it which is often he stands still that's not what bulut wants from players .

In a nutshell
Ollie Tanner found out pretty quickly what was required of him and acted on it.

I think he deserves his chance now.

My View as a fan, Colwill deserves a decent run, especially with Ramsey out for a few months.

What position tho ? I really don't know what his position is tbh also he's lazy without the ball doesn't look fit either for the championship , he's got bags of talent but comes across that he hasn't got the desire .

Definitely colwill should be playing , he has the skill and the touch ,
If he ain’t running back then bulut shud be screaming at him .

I don't think its about desire, its about ability, not footballing but physical.
'He is a big lad and thick set with it, he isn't running like Mo Farrah. If that's what's needed he is always going to be chasing shadows.
Its funny how all our recent managers never continually mention that none of our midfield group can't travel with the ball, make a key pass or shoot from 20 yards

We accept they are limited grafters, but that is ok
When they line up he is bigger than Etete, they just are not the same a Siopis

I was impressed with him at Birmingham, thought he had a really good game and was a contender for MOTM.
But whenever he gets his chance in the league, he never seems to take it.
It's a shame because I really want him to do well for us.
Bulut has done good work with Tanner so I just hope he can do the same with Rubin.

Ruben needs a run of game at number 10 position. Not out wide!

I completely agree! 2 seasons ago he won the away game against Forest, and as you said he ran the Cup game against Birmingham this season! With Rambo out now is the time to give him a run at 10 particularly at home where we need to attack teams not just defend and catch them on the counter!

Can he last a game though? Will he be disciplined when we haven’t got possession?
Don’t mean to be a miserable git as I do see your point.

What if he doesn't chase and work hard for the team and we lose his first three games.
I think Bulut is a much better judge of a player than any of us, he's proved with Tanner he'll give young players a chance, but they have to do what he tells them otherwise they are back out in the cold.
Tanner grabbed his chance Colwill will need too!
