Home Support - Ideas

It’s been noted, whilst the home support is steady , following the recent liaison , what’s been suggested in respect of improving home support ( considering it’s no longer just about finances ).

Also the same question in respect of away support which has gone down significantly?

You build support over a period of time and success.

My view is we should fill the empty seat with kids at really low prices. They are the future fans.

I also think the women and or the academy should play pre/post-game. There must be a way of doing this.

Lower beer and food prices.

Stadium manager and announcer needs to go to other stadia to see how the build atmosphere and engagement.

Slipped off my soap box now.

Some good ideas here!I would also add encourage season ticket holders to bring a friend for a fiver and children for a pound. Also for the club to open the Stadium much earlier to encourage people to spend at the club rather than local pubs, cafe’s etc!

Fill the whole red top tier stand with schools even if its freebies. Rather people in the seats than nobody and empty, If the club really give two hoots about getting more in the ground and maybe returning as fans again then why not something like this the way I see it imo. I can't get my head around why any club would would half an empty ground most games rather than try fill it anyway they can in hope it brings in club shop money and them returning as full paying fans and so on.

Other clubs have a fan zone outside their stadiums.

Put one at the back of the stadium by the gates, where it's a bit bare apart from the gates and small memorial garden. Use up some of the parking spaces.

Food and drink, seats, music and a stage or something for line up announcements, stuff for kids and to watch the early game on a screen.

Open it after the game too so people can wait for the traffic to ease and the club can get some money in selling a few more drinks and food
